We are a small and friendly group at the moment but because we are members of a larger organisation we can attend events of all sizes. If you would like to join us, but feel the big events are not for you then that’s fine, you will be more than welcome to just come along to any event that appeals to you personally.
We have quite a large amount of kit & clothing and it would be possible to help supply certain items for temporary use if you feel that you would like to try a taster of living history. If you need help in acquiring your own kit, we can help out with contacts and specialist dealers. There is always a member of the group who can help you with any information that you require, be it military or homefront.
Age is no barrier for the hobby, the whole family can take part, from evacuee children, Dad in the forces, Mum making do and mending! Gran can be in the WVS and Granddad can be in the Homeguard....a place for everyone. The more involved you get in the hobby, the more fun you have...Army one day, RAF the next, women can have many roles from the forces to ARP or homefront, the choices are up to you.
